Color Me Quilts- Art Applique for Mother's Day

I am offering a special online Color Me Quilt class for Mother's Day!! Join me as I teach you my many techniques for applying colored pencils to fabric to create a multitude of effects and create an applique look. You will be able to color along with me and get live instruction and help.  You will learn how about faux marbling, watercolor effects, applying texture and so much more. Learn how you can create whimsy or more realism once you know these techniques and the best part is that they are colorfast and permanent. I will also show you how you can incorporate this technique into your regular applique quilts or art quilts. I showed this technique on Quilting Arts TV and in their magazine and have taught this class in person across the US.

What is so fun is that you don't need sewing machines and no art experience needed for this class, I will show you how!! Most of my students have never done any artwork and have amazing results. This is a great opportunity to learn a new technique that you can use in many different ways for both art quilts and in traditional quilts. The class is scheduled for 3 hours and may run a little over if there are lots of questions.

What you will receive with this class-

1. Stitch file for the 8"x8" block (if you want to stitch out your own block)
2. 3 hour Zoom class packed with demos and instructions for success
3. Information on how to create multiple effects you can use on many fabric projects.
4. How to make sure it is permanent 
5. Hands on instruction and live demo so you can ask all the questions you want
6. Access to the recorded class or other video demo
7. Option to purchase one of two kits (optional)
8. Supply list and links for purchasing supplies
9. Your choice of one of two choices for you to color, Sunflowers or Wild Roses
10. Option to purchase all of my coloring designs on my Color me Quilts CD or download at 50% off.

You will receive the stitch files for the block prior to class if you would like to stitch out your own blocks and avoid the kit fee.
There is an optional kit fee of $50 and you will receive an exclusive block stitched out and ready to color, 5 inktense pencils (extra colors available), brushes, you will need to order Textile medium(link to purchase sent later).
The #2 kit is just the block stitched out for those who already have inktense pencils and brushes or don't own an embroidery machine, the cost is 25$ You can choose from two designs, Sunflowers or Wild Roses.

Once you have signed up for the class you will receive all the information about the kit/kits and or supply list, Zoom link for class, textile medium link. Kits are limited and I will try to accommodate everyones request. 

Anyone purchasing the class will be able to purchase all of my Color me Quilt designs on CD or as a download for 50% off at the time of the class, a code will be given in class. Supply list is available if you would like to get your own supplies.

All kits must be ordered by April 20th to assure your kits will arrive in time for class. Look for the kits under shop/kits. There are kits with 7 pencils, 5 pencils and just a block for those who own their own supplies.

The kits are optional and if you have Inktense pencils and would like to stitch out your own block from my Color me Quilts designs to color you are welcome to do so. I will also offer extra pencils to purchase if you are interested.

Requirements:	No requirements, you don't have to have a degree in art, I will show you how! This is a wonderful opportunity to get hands on instruction as you work on your art piece. When finished they are colorfast and washable! Use them in quilts, projects, clothing etc.
